Peta's request to Osmania University for beef festival
Peta has written a letter to the Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University
As the agitation regarding the controversial beef festival at Osmania University is on the rise, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has written a letter to the Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University.
The CEO of PETA, India, Poorva Joshipura, has urged the authorites to “use plant-based faux beef which would be just as tasty but far more healthy than red meat, instead of beef from cows or buffaloes”. In the letter, PETA has also written about how December 10 isn’t just Human Rights Day but also International Animal Rights Day.
