Watch sex-reassignment: Male to female surgery

European Society of Urology has recently uploaded a video that shows how male-to-female gender reassignment surgery takes place.

The video is quite detailed and the procedure is more complex than just removing the penis.

The graphical representation shows a surgeon opening the scrotum and then removing the testicles.

Later we see the head of penis being removed in order to create a clitoris.

The scrotum and shaft are later used during the procedure to create the vaginal canal and labia.

This allows patients undergoing surgery to live a perfectly active and healthy sex life.

This video just shows the surgical procedure, however a person goes through additional hormone therapy after the surgery.
