The recent rains that lashed the city didn’t spare anyone, playing spoilsport to the upcoming movie releases, including the crew of Jil Jung Juk and Gethu. The Siddharth-starrer Jil Jung Juk was supposed to have a Christmas release, but now it has been postponed to 2016. Sid wrote on his microblogging page, “Jil Jung Juk release is postponed. We will not be able to meet you in cinemas this year. Let’s all get well first. See you next year. Thanks (sic).” The film is directed by newbie Deeraj Vaidy.
Also, it looks like the Udhayanidhi-starrer Gethu won’t be releasing on December 18 as the crew is yet to apply for the censors. A little birdie tells us that the Gethu team is planning to release the movie on a day where no other movie is released, so the film is likely to get postponed to February. Gethu will see Sathyaraj as Udhay’s dad and Amy playing the leading lady, while Karunakaran will be providing comic relief. We may expect Udhay making the audio lauch news official, anytime soon, which has music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is directed by Thirukumaran of Maan Karate fame.
