Kabir Bedi returns with SRK and Hrithik
There’s still more that is keeping the actor in the news.
After a prolonged hiatus, veteran actor Kabir Bedi will soon be seen on the big screen, in two big-ticket projects — first in the soon-to-be-released Dilwale followed by Hrithik Roshan-starrer Mohenjo Daro next year.
Kabir says, “I have done two films with Shah Rukh in the past. The track in Dilwale revolves around Vinod Khanna and me. The film pitches us head to head. As for Mohenjo Daro, as the name suggests, it is set in a historical period and I have a pivotal role along with Hrithik Roshan. Again Hrithik and I go back a long way, as I did Kites with him and Khoon Bhari Maang was directed by Rakesh (Roshan). So yes, both Dilwale and Mohenjo Daro are big films and I’m looking forward to see how people react.”
There’s still more that is keeping the actor in the news. His Italian TV show from the 70s, Sandokan, has just been launched in India on DVD. It has been dubbed in Hindi.
“I want today’s generation to see the show that made me so successful in Europe and took my career across continents. I have bought the rights and am doing the dubbing and everything else myself. Being India’s first international star, it now gives me great joy to see Anil Kapoor bringing 24 to India and Priyanka Chopra becoming an international star in her own right.”
