Salman Khan brought in his 50th birthday with a grand celebration at his Panvel farmhouse. And reaching the milestone seems to have infused the superstar with fresh verve and vigour. At his bash, he was asked for his reaction to the latest development in his 2022 hit-and-run case: The Maharashtra government intends to file an appeal in the Supreme Court.  Salman replied that he was ready to fight out the matter in the apex court. “Bahut khushi ki baat hai ki mata pita ke sir se ek tension hatt gaya. Jayenge supreme court me jayenge, hak banta hai
unka, wahan par bhi fight karenge. (It’s a huge burden off my parents. It’s the government’s right to appeal in the Supreme Court. We too will fight the case in the Supreme Court),” he said.

Salman also added that trials and tribulations were as much a part of life as happiness, and his family believed in maintaining the balance between the two.

The superstar was recently acquitted by the Bombay High Court in the now infamous hit-and-run incident. The bench had stated that there was no concrete proof whether or not Salman was indeed driving the car that rammed into a footpath, killing one and injuring others.
