Nivin mobbed by Chennai fans
He enjoys a considerable fan base among Tamil audiences.
Nivin Pauly, who debuted in Kollywood with the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual Neram, now enjoys a considerable fan base among Tamil audiences. While Neram turned out to be a moderate success, his last outing Premam is having a phenomenal run at the Chennai box office. The movie, which released in the month of May last year, went on to become one of the top grossers in Mollywood, and is still running in Chennai even after its 200th day of release. The star announced through his microblogging page that he will be watching the film at a city theatre on Thursday.
He arrived for the night show which coincided with the film’s 222nd day, and unsurprisingly, the movie theatre sported a ‘housefull’ board. His fans and other movie buffs were delighted to see their favourite star and were more than happy to get a glimpse of him. Meanwhile, as reported earlier, Nivin too is a part of Vikram’s video song ‘Spirit of Chennai’ and joined the crew recently. The actor had the company of B’town star Abhishek Bachchan for the shooting.
