Cheque books of 6 SBI subsidiary banks to be invalid from Oct 30

SBI has asked customers of these subsidiary banks to apply for new cheque books as soon as possible.

Mumbai: The country’s largest lender – the State Bank of India has issued a statement asking account holders of its subsidiary banks to apply for new cheque books along with the new IFSC code.

This notification is for account holders of State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Raipur, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Hyderabad and Bhartiya Mahila Bank.

SBI also stated that the old cheque books and IFS codes of these six banks will be invalid after September 30.
