Hyderabad: The Supreme Court on Monday issued notices to the CBI and the ED, directing them to submit their contentions in the bail pleas filed by BRS MLC K. Kavitha, in the cases lodged against her in the Delhi liquor policy scam. A division bench comprising Justice B.R. Gavai and Justice K.V. Vishwanathan was not inclined to consider the interim bail plea of Kavitha. When senior counsel Mukul Rohatgi said she had been in jail for five months, the bench said that it could not give orders without hearing the other side. The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing to August 20.
