Mahesh is helming Sadak 2, which is a sequel to his 1991 super hit film Sadak.
Mumbai: Alia Bhatt is a powerhouse performer who keeps surprising everyone with her acting abilities, which outshine in every film including Gully Boy for which she has been receiving appreciations from everyone. Although, Alia calls herself a director’s actor, she admits being scared when it comes to receiving directions from her father filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.
“Right now, I am scared to be directed by my father. He is looking at me every day and saying I am going to get through you. He has an X-ray vision kind of thing,” says Alia who will be directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt for Sadak 2. The duo would be working together for the first time.
“I have a wall around me every now and then and I let very few people in (cross that wall). My father is waiting to break that wall down. So, I am a little scared but I think it will be fun. We start shooting this year,” she adds.
Mahesh is helming Sadak 2, which is a sequel to his 1991 super hit film Sadak. The film features his daughters Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt along with Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Besides Sadak 2, Alia also has some equally promising films lined up for this year including Kalank and Brahmastra.
“It’s a big year for me. All my upcoming films are special and are different from one another. According to me, they are banging stories and I am really looking forward to seeing how all of this stuff will roll out. I am quite confident about all my films but eventually, it is up to the audience,” she concludes.
