Will Mohit Suri direct Ekta Kapoor's Ek Villain 2?
Actor Riteish Deshmukh, otherwise seen mainly in comedy roles, played the villain gaining appreciation and applauds.
The 2014 Sidharth Malhotra and Sharddha Kapoor starrer romantic action thriller Ek Villain was a huge success for producer Ekta Kapoor and director Mohit Suri.
Actor Riteish Deshmukh, otherwise seen mainly in comedy roles, played the villain gaining appreciation and applauds. All this, and now the makers clearly are keen on making a sequel, with or without the director.
While Mohit hasn’t been able to give dates and a script for the film, Ekta is now on the hunt for another director to helm the project.
“Both Riteish and Shraddha have died in the first part. There is no chance for either of them to be a part of the sequel,” says a source, adding, “Mohit was keen on working with Shraddha again, but he doesn’t have the time at the moment. So, a new director and a lot of faces which were not in Ek Villain will be seen in the second part,” confirms the source. Now, it remains to be seen who will don the director’s hat for the film.
