Ashvini Yardi starts a new company, will produce TV and web content

Mumbai: Ashvini Yardi started her career in TV industry and many years later she is going back to where it all started. She worked with a leading channel for over 2 decades before taking over a brand new channel. At her new job she introduced shows that set the TRP's soaring for the channel immediately after the launch.

In 2011, she quit the channel and co-founded 'Grazing Goat Pictures' along with the actor to produce movies that were pathbreaking. The company went on to produce movies like 'OMG', 'Fugly' and more recently 'Singh is Bliing'. They also produced regional movies like 72 Miles ( Marathi) and Bhaji in Problem ( Punjabi)

Recently, there were reports that the two have fallen out and are no more working with each other. But we have reliably learnt that there is no truth to these rumours.

She is very much part of Grazing Goat Pictures but has started a new company, Vini Yard Films, which will be involved in other activities. As she is aware of the pulse of the TV audience that penetrates in every corner of the country, she will produce innovative television and web content.

She has already started work on a TV show 'Jamai Raja' for the same channel where she started her career. Knowing that the consumption of web content is increasing every day, the company will also produced web series.

Vini Yard Films will also manage talents like Kiara Advani, Amy Jackson to name a few. As for Grazing Goat Pictures, there are some movies planned which will go on floors soon.
