Which way an actor’s career would sway depends on the good and bad Fridays. Actor Hrithik Roshan had a good 2014 with his film Bang Bang doing really well at the box office but in the five years since then, he has done only two films. While Mohenjo Daro tanked badly, Kaabil did restore his reputation. Perhaps, in his effort to play safe, the actor seems to be moving  towards the action genre.

“It is rather strange that in the past five years after the release of Bang Bang in 2014, Hrithik has only had two releases — Mohenjo Daro and Kaabil. Normally an actor would have at least one release per year. He has Krrish 4 coming up and Hrithik now wants to make that film bigger and better, apart from doing other action-based films. While he did have a good time doing a content-driven film Super 30, he wants to get back to action like he did in Bang Bang,” says a source.

With Super 30 being postponed, Hrithik has been working with Tiger Shroff in an untitled project directed by Siddharth Anand for Yash Raj films billed as ‘Hrithik Vs Tiger’. Barring that, he was considering Rohit Dhawan’s project which he is not doing anymore.
