2018 has been an exciting year for the debutante Jahnvi Kapoor as she witnessed the grand success with her debut film Dhadak. Considering it was an official remake of a popular Marathi film Sairat, the actress had an immense pressure to live up to the expectations and she surely passed with flying colors.
But this is just the beginning. There have been reports of the young actress prepping for the next two films that she has been cast in.
Looking at the other two films one can surely say that the actress has been making hatke choices.
Reportedly she will enact Hira Bai in Karan Johar’s Takht where she stars alongside the likes of Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Apart from that, she would play the titular character in the biopic of Gunjan Saxena, one of India’s first female combat aviators to be posted in Kargil during the 1999 war.
A 21 year old making such out-of-the-box choices is a brave thing for sure, but will this take her a notch above her contemporaries?
