This year seems to be very fortunate for Dharma Productions. They are tasting success with Rajini and Akshay Kumar starrer film 2.0 which has already made a mark at the box office, crossing 100 crores in merely 5 days.

Post 2.0, KJo is now associated to director Rohit Shetty’s most commercial film of the year 2018 titled ‘Simmba’.

Karan’s show Koffee With Karan also became a hot topic after Kangana Ranaut termed him as the flag bearer of nepotism, but despite that, KJo went on to launch star kids Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan.

The awards season will come soon with 2019 just a few weeks away, so we asked Karan whom would be root for as the best debutante – Janhvi or Sara?

To that, the quick witted Karan gave a valid and practical answer saying, “Your question is very valid mam, but the two girls are merely 21 or 22 years old. If we start comparing them at this stage then it won’t be fair. Both of them are wonderful, they are beautiful and have worked very hard. Really, from within my heart, I say ‘awards do not matter as much as the love of the audiences’. That is what matters the most. Having said that, I agree that the moment when one receives an award does matter a lot and is indeed very precious. The pose which they might see posting on their Instagram will also be special. But the minute the social media is over, that moment is all over. At this phase of their life, their career is important for them. It is on them to be able to showcase their talent to the best of their ability to be able to shape their career in their favour”.
