Watch: Kangana starts prepping for film on Rani Lakshmibai; learns horse riding!

Mumbai: When it comes to her films, Kangana Ranaut doesn’t like to leave any stone unturned. Wasting no time, the actress has started prepping for filmmaker Krish’s Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi.

The film is based on Rani Laxmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi who was the queen of the Maratha-ruled Jhansi state, situated in the north-central part of India. She was one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857.

Kangana, who plays the titular role in the film, is learning horse riding for the film. The actress was spotted practicing horse riding at Mahalaxmi Race Course with trainer Suresh Taporia.

Earlier, the film was supposed to be directed by Ketan Mehta. Reportedly, a tiff took place between Kangana and Ketan, due to which the latter left the project and later, Telugu director Krish hopped on board to fill his place.
