Mumbai: The number of cyber crime cases has suddenly increased in the past few months and the ones to face the brunt of it are stars and starlets from South Indian Film & Music industry. After the controversial photos of South Indian stars leaked by an alleged hacker on singer and RJ Suchitra’s Twitter account, another South Indian actress has announced that her Facebook account’s been hacked.

Malayalam actress Madonna Sebastian of ‘Premam’ fame took to Facebook earlier this week to clarify that the Facebook posts and tweets from her accounts were not posted by her. She wrote: Hello there.. looks like my page is hacked. So please ignore the posts till I confirm otherwise. Thank you. P.S. the twitter posts that appear on my behalf are also not mine.

On March 3, tweets from Suchitra’s account shocked everyone when some private party pictures of Dhanush, Hansika Motwani, Anirudh Ravichander, Andrea Jeremiah and Dhivyadharshini were posted on her account which the singer claims to be the work of a hacker. The photographs, however, were taken down later. A pornographic video was also posted from Suchi’s account with a request to download it before it’s removed from social media.

In a series of tweets, Suchitra cleared her name saying her account was hacked. Reacting to the ongoing controversy, Karthik, Suchitra’s husband reportedly said, “All the people mentioned in the tweets have been patient enough to understand that this could happen to anyone and to not take it personally. I really value all of that. There is nothing personal in all of this and it is more indictative of whatever condition she is going through.”

Some reports also suggest that the RJ-singer is flying off to London for rehabilitation.
