Watch: Meri Pyaari Bindu's Haareya gives you the warm fuzzies without trying
The film, which had five quirky teaser trailers released early last week, has released its first song by Sachin-Jigar.
Mumbai: 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' has been impressing audiences with its quirkily romantic teaser trailers.
The first song from the film had an innocuous Parineeti ably crooning her way through it.
The makers have finally released the second song from the sountrack, 'Haareya,' sung by the perennially dependable Arijit Singh.
The instantly likable melody, composed by Sachin-Jigar, is the perfect love ballad for the average love-struck audience.
Though it might take one back to the composer duo's 'Gulabi' from 'Shuddh Desi Romance,' the song has its own acoustic charm, with a catchy yet sublime riff running wild through the song.
Arijit is in top form, emoting with much gusto. Especially appreciable are his falsetto notes, which inexplicably have his inimitable huskiness intact.
The song is no production marvel or too inventive and unique either, but it nevertheless works for a love ballad and could very much end up being a chartbuster for the film.
