Shraddha Kapoor will be playing a Pakistani dancer from UK for her role in the upcoming, still untitled, dance film with Varun Dhawan.

The actress had stepped into a role tailor-made for Katrina Kaif who had opted out of the film due to date issues. “Shraddha Kapoor will have to put on an accent as well for the role that would have come easily for Katrina. So, apart from her dancing, she is working on that as well. Because the film is in 3D, the dance steps are very different than those in other dance films as they need to make an impact in three-dimension,” says a source from the film.

Directed by Remo D’ Souza the film marks the reunion of Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor who have both previously collaborated with Remo in ABCD 2.
The dance film will be shot mostly in the UK, while some of it will be in North India where an important sequence is set. “This dance film will be shot more in the UK and only some portions will trace its roots to India. In ABCD 2, it had been the other way round, with the major portion shot in India and the rest abroad,” the source close to the development says.
