Saif Ali Khan the biggest horror fan
Further revealing about shooting in 3D he adds, “3D is a learning process but it is a good key to keep hooked.
Actor Saif Ali Khan, known for his sarcasm and wit, has been roped in for a horror comedy titled Bhoot Police. The actor will uplift the entertainment quotient with his sense of humour, feels director of the film Pavan Kripalani.
“Saif understands the symbolism and the mechanism of working in a horror comedy. I felt that these are things you rarely find in actors. He gets it with a great sense of sarcasm and humour for which he is known for,” says Pavan. “It’s a dream come true for me. This film couldn’t have happened without him. I finally got the right cast,” he adds. Starring Saif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal, the film will be shot in 3D. Pavan further reveals that Saif is the biggest horror fan.
“We both are on the same page at so many levels in terms of creativity, aesthetics and I was really surprised when I first met him. He revealed that he is actually a horror fan and we connected on the fact that we spoke about M. R. James, who is great horror writer, and I was surprised that there is another person who has read James’ stories. I think Saif is a bigger horror fan than I am,” says the Ragini MMS director.
Further revealing about shooting in 3D he adds, “3D is a learning process but it is a good key to keep hooked. It gives larger than life quality so what better format than 3D. I hope it will be a great ride.”
