Mumbai: Producer Boney Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee have been trying to make a sequel of their 2005 blockbuster 'No Entry' for a while but nothing has been chalked out yet. Meanwhile, Anees directed a family comedy 'Mubarakaan' last year and is gearing up for his next 'Saade Saati' with Ajay Devgn. He was also rumored to direct Patralekhaa in a woman oriented film but it was never announced.

Sometime ago, Anees even announced the sequel of 2002 hit Aankhen directed by Vipul Amratlal Shah in 2016 but it never took off.

A close source reveals, “Anees Bazmee wanted younger cast in the sequel hence Ranveer has been approached to play the role of Prem, originally essayed by Salman, while Arjun will play Kishan, who was portrayed by Anil but it is not happening anytime soon. Other actors will be finalised, if Ranveer will give his nod.”

“Ranveer has to finish Gully Boy, Simmba and Kapil Dev's biopic 83’ and Arjun has Namastey England and biggest war movie of Ashutosh Gowariker, Panipat , for which he has given his maximum dates available,” source concludes.

While the movie may not have been a hit, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor’s pairing created magic on screen for director Ali Abbas Zafar in Gunday. Now, Anees Bazmee and his producer Boney Kapoor are contemplating casting the two actors together in No Entry Mein Entry.
