Kangana's ramp recollections
The actress reminisced on her first time on the ramp in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, a performance that won her a National Award.
Kangana Ranaut’s recent ramp walk at the Lakme Fashion Week also sent her on a walk down memory lane. The actress reminisced on her first time on the ramp in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, a performance that won her a National Award.
“I remember my Fashion days. That is the only film in which I’ve played a supermodel. I did not have any modelling experience and I had never walked the ramp before that. I had to rehearse a lot, and this definitely takes me back to those days,’ said the Simran actress on the sidelines of the show.
The actress talked about how she used to practice her walk even before she entered the entertainment business, in the hope of being in the movies and on the ramp someday. “I used to work hard. I was young, and there was never any guarantee, but I hoped that I would be accepted. I would wake up in the middle of the night, put on high heels and try to impersonate the catwalks I’d seen Fashion TV,” she added, smiling.
