When I told Harsh that I wouldn't date an actor, he was offended: Saiyami Kher

Mumbai: Debutant Saiyami Kher, who is geared up for her big debut with Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’, has already found her knight in shining armour and he is not from the film fraternity.

“I’m into long-term commitments. I have been madly in love with a guy from my college for nearly six years…He has no association with the industry. I don't know how the future will shape up, I will always be in love with him”, Saiyami told Bombay Times.

During the interview, Saiyami, who shares a sizzling on-screen chemistry with fellow debutant Harshavardhan Kapoor, had confessed to not wanting to date anyone from the world of showbiz.

Kher added,” I believe if you are with someone from the same industry, you don’t grow, and you find yourself confined to that little pond…It’s essential for a person to grow, because it teaches you so much.”

The curly-haired beauty is all heart and no appearance. She further added, "It's difficult to meet a good soul; looks are secondary… I'm a hopeless romantic. Love is the most beautiful emotion in the world.”

A self-confessed hopeless romantic herself, Saiyami Kher-Harshvardhan Kapoor starrer love story ‘Mirzya’ will hit the screens on October 7.
