Mohit Suri to direct Shahid's brother and Saif's daughter in a romantic drama

Karan Johar is turning out to be quite the godfather for star kids. The latest to come under his wings are Ishaan Khattar, Shahid Kapoor’s brother (Neelima Azim and Rajesh Khattar’s son) and Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan.

There were talks that the two will be launched in a Yash Raj venture, but turns out KJo will launch them under his Dharma banner. The movie will be directed by Mohit Suri, whose last outing was Hamari Adhuri Kahaani.

In keeping with Karan’s brand of films, this one too will be a love story and a big budget one at that. Says a source, “Mohit will start work on Half Girlfriend now and then his calendar is choc-a-block till 2018.”
