Iulia Vantur wants to immerse herself in Indian culture

Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur is all set to make her Bollywood debut with director Prem R. Soni’s Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyun Kala, and just like her character in the film, she’s going all out to immerse herself in Indian culture. At an event, the actress is spotted in a stunning Manish Malhotra saree, her look complete with flowers in her hair. And when we asked her about her attire, she says, “I love wearing a saree. It does take me some time to drape it, as I am not completely proficient yet, but a saree is my favourite attire. ’
“This time, I had help from one of Manish’s assistants, but next time, I shall try draping it myself. While playing a disciple of Lord Krishna in my upcoming film, I will have to wear a saree in most scenes, so I hope I master the technique of draping it by then. I am really fond of the outfit, it makes a woman look beautiful yet sexy,” Iulia adds.
Given Iulia’s proximity with Salman and his khandaan, it’s almost a given that she must have consulted with them before signing her first film, but when we ask her if she received any advice from them, she only responds with a smile. Ask her if she consulted with anyone else from the industry and she says, “I asked my parents for advice, of course, and I also discussed the film with Sonakshi Sinha, who is a very close friend of mine.”
Now that’s a friendship we didn’t know about.
