Actor Charlie Sheen, who recently caused a stir when he confirmed that he is HIV positive and still went on to sleep with actresses and other women, has revealed that he will soon begin an experimental HIV treatment.
“I’m very excited about this. These are scientists and brilliant doctors and researchers. It’s a public company. There’s absolute transparency. There’s no back rooms or hidden agenda,” the actor told Dr. Oz in an interview.
The treatment — which Charlie is still being screened for to see if he’s compatible first — involves receiving to injections a week, with the company claiming that it allows patients to remain off their regular medication.
