Justin Timberlake opens up about his iconic denim outfit

Justin Timberlake recently opened up about the infamous matching denim-on-denim outfit that he wore at the American Music Awards in 2001 with his then-girlfriend Britney Spears. The Can’t Stop The Feeling singer spoke about it on the Australian talk show The Project, reported UsWeekly.com.

“If you wear denim-on-denim, it will get documented. I don’t think I could even bring that back. I’m going to go out on a limb and say if it’s worn properly, denim-on-denim could be (brought back). Did you see the outfits we wore? It was such a crazy time and the world was different, the music industry was different,” he said.

When asked who can carry the look today, he said, “Not Donald Trump!”
