Looks like filmmaker Vignesh Shivn is reviving his dream project, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, (earlier titled Porae Pokkula Kaadhal) after five years. This was the news after Vignesh collaborated with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara for the blockbuster hit Naanum Rowdy Thaan.
The latest buzz is that Nayan’s beau is bringing on board Vijay Sethupathi as the protagonist and two hot ladies of Tamil cinema, Nayan and Trisha, to romance VSP. Apparently, Vignesh had chosen the trio earlier to present the story of a man caught between two beautiful and strong-willed women. But the endeavour had fizzled out due to unknown reasons.
Reports about Shivn and Sethu joining hands surfaced after the former met Makkal Selvan on his birthday recently. He had also posted wishes to VSP. “Happy happy birthday to You @actorvijaysethupathi sir. A genuine soul who respects every human being without any partiality. Uses his heart more than the mind to do things. May your life be filled with only happy moments!! Always-in awe of you and your talents! Waiting to work wit you again sir! Love you Sooo much!”
If all goes well, KVRK will go on the floors in the summer of 2020.
However, a source to the director tells us that Vignesh met VSP only to wish him on the special day. “Nothing is firmed up,” he stressed.
