Ram Charan gets ripped for Thani Oruvan remake
The actor is now working on getting a much leaner and toned frame and training to improve his stamina.
South star Ram Charan, who is currently prepping to play a cop in his next movie Dhruva, recently turned vegetarian to get in shape for the character.
Ram, who plays a tough cop in the action entertainer, has to shed the pounds and sport a lean look in the film. The film will be a remake of the Tamil hit film Thani Oruvan.
The move, revealed Ram, is the first step in his plan to undergo a complete detox to support his gruelling fitness regime. The actor is now working on getting a much leaner and toned frame and training to improve his stamina to perform the film’s challenging stunts. Watching over Ram’s training is his trainer and friend Dominic, who even flew with Ram to Kashmir to ensure he doesn’t miss a day. The trainer will reportedly be with the actor for the next 10 days while he shoots for the film.
Says a source, “Ram needs to look pumped in certain scenes and slightly more chiselled and leaner in a few others. His trainer works with him for over two hours a day before they begin the shoot. With his trainer there, Ram hopes to follow a disciplined regime, which hopefully should reflect in his onscreen look as well.”
