Radha Mohan's ready with another film!
The film tells the story of a man suffering from Alzheimer's disease who suddenly goes missing, and his son's quest to find him.
Director Radha Mohan, who’s gearing up for the release of his Jyothika-starrer Kaatrin Mozhi, has quietly completed another movie titled 60 Vayadhu Maaniram. Produced by Kalaipuli Thanu, the film is a remake of the Kannada hit Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu. It features Prakash Raj and Vikram Prabhu as the male leads, Indhuja of Meyaadha Maan fame as the leading lady, and Samudhrakani playing a key character.
The director, whose films usually explore emotional subjects, says, “60 Vayadhu Maaniram is about the relationship between a father and son, and the generation gap between them. Prakash Raj plays the father, and Vikram Prabhu plays his son.”
The film tells the story of a man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease who suddenly goes missing, and his son’s quest to find him.
Talking about the project, an excited Vikram Prabhu says, “I am a big fan of Radha Mohan’s work. I especially I loved Mozhi. And Thanu sir is like family to me. When he called offered me a film to be directed by Radha Mohan sir, I just grabbed it. The best thing that happened to the film was Ilaiyaraaja sir. It is a proud moment for me to have worked with the maestro who has worked with my thatha Sivaji and appa Prabhu.” 60 Vayadhu Maaniram is expected to hit silver screens this month.
