Smitten by ghost films, actor Bharath has signed a movie under Vadivudayan’s direction titled Pottu. The movie, set against the backdrop of a medical college, has three heroines in the lead namely Namitha, Iniya, and Srushti Dange to give him company. Namitha is attempting the role of a lifetime as a cigar-wielding aghori in the movie produced by Shalom Studios.

“I play a powerful antagonist who knows the art of witchcraft. Since the director said that I was too fair-complexioned for my character, I went to Dubai and tanned my skin at a special makeup studio,” Namitha reveals. The actress has also used special contact lenses.

Recently, a few important scenes were canned in the tribal area of Kollimalai, where huge sets were erected at an altitude of 2,000 feet. “We shot with Bharath, Namitha, Iniya, and Nikeshram for 10 days there. There were no motorable roads, and we had to carry all the heavy equipment on our shoulders and walk up the hill for four kilometres to the location,” Vadivudayan tells us.
