Nadhiya Moidu to act in Power Paandi?

It seems like the Dhanush household thoroughly enjoys giving surprises! After announcing his next production venture with Pa Ranjith, which has his father-in-law playing the lead role, Dhanush has revealed his latest avatar — deciding to turn director for the first time. Ever since the announcement of his venture, Power Paandi was out, the film has been the talk of the town. Veteran actor Rajkiran will essay the lead role. The film also stars Prasanna and Chaya Singh in pivotal roles.

Now, news that actor Nadiya Moidu will be paired opposite Rajkiran has been doing the rounds! A source revealed, “The news is wrong. Nothing has been finalised yet. We are looking for someone like Nadiya, but haven’t finalised her yet. Anyway, the female lead’s role is only part of the later schedule. Dhanush sir has some actors in mind — but it is too early to speak about.”

Nadiya, who is out of the country currently, informed us, “There is no confirmation yet about my presence in the film.” Meanwhile, the first look of the film has instigated comparisons with American biker comedy flick Wild Hogs, starring the likes of John Travolta and Tim Allen, that traces the road trip of four middle-aged men in search of adventure!
