Bharat Seeni performs better in romance: Subhiksha
Unlike other imported heroines, Subhiksha's command of Tamil has made her a sought after for girl-next-door roles.
Subhiksha, the lead heroine of Goli Soda 2, speaks to DC on her experiences working with Milton for the second time after Kadugu, which gave her recognition.
Talking about bagging the film, she says, "Although I had limited scope to perform in Kadugu, the role still had significance. People started calling me ‘Kadugu’ Subhiksha. I was waiting to work again with Vijay Milton sir and never expected he would call me soon for GS2."
Unlike other imported heroines, Subhiksha’s command of Tamil has made her a sought after for girl-next-door roles. “I play Inba Valli, a bubbly one and she is a simple girl. And Milton was very particular that I should just perform casually without much preparation. The comfort levels working with the entire team were high.”
Subhiksha who essays the love interest of actor/producer Bharath Seeni for the second time after Kadugu, feels the latter was hyper in romantic scenes than in action blocks. “Though we played lovers in Kadugu, there were hardly any romance episodes between us. I think in one of my interactions with Milton sir, I had expressed it in a lighter vein. I guess he took it seriously and has given many more intimate scenes between me and Bharath in GS2 and the latter performed better in romantic scenes (laughs).”
