Vishnu Vishal's next titled Silukkuvaarupatti Singam
His second outing Kathanayagan is up for release on June 23.
Actor Vishnu Vishal, who turned producer with Velainnu Vandhutta Vellakaran, is now bankrolling two projects under his home banner, Vishnu Vishal Studioz. While his second outing Kathanayagan is up for release on June 23, he is now busy shooting for his third project, helmed by Chella. The latest update is that the film has been titled Silukkuvaarupatti Singam. Speaking to DC, Vishnu Vishal says, “We thought that the famous catch-phrase ‘Silukkuvaarupatti Singame!’ uttered by Sivakarthikeyan in one of his films would suit the story perfectly. I play a police constable hailing from the Silukkuvaarupatti village, while Regina plays a teacher. The first schedule of the movie is underway and will go on till the end of April.”
Also, actress Oviya has been roped in for an extended cameo. “I requested Oviya to listen to the story and she was impressed with Chella’s narration and got on board. She will be featured in a song and four important sequences in the movie. It was nice of her to heed to my request. The second schedule will commence in May and we will wrap the film up by the end of the month,” he shares.
Vishnu will also shoot for Mundasupatti Ram’s project for 15 days and would start his next film with Eshan Productions in June. He would also start working on Pelli Choopulu’s Tamil remake Pon Ondru Kanden from July.
