Prabha is a self-made lady: Bramma
...says director Bramma, about Jyothika's character in the upcoming film, Magalir Mattum.
After making a strong comeback in 36 Vayadhinile, actress Jyothika announced that she would continue acting in movies henceforth. Currently, the actress is busy shooting for Bramma’s Magalir Mattum and has reportedly signed Vijay 61, (directed by Atlee) as well.
Recently, the poster of Magalir Mattum was released online where Jo is seen riding a Royal Enfield. Talking about her character, director Bramma says, “She plays Prabha, a documentary filmmaker. She is a self-made woman who is grounded, bold and practical as well. She is tough as the poster conveys and we have wrapped up a majority of the portions.”
Talking about the poster, he shares, “This particular scene was shot in Agra and we filmed a small portion in and around the city as the story travels to North India.”
Earlier, it was announced that the film would be a February release. “We are trying to complete and release it next month. We are yet to wrap up Magalir Mattum as certain portions of the movie are still pending.”
Magalir Mattum, jointly produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and Chris Pictures, is a feel-good flick which also stars Saranya Ponvannan, Bhanupriya, Urvashi, Nasser and Livingston. Gibran is busy scoring the tunes for this flick.
