With an unprecedented and unmatched stardom in the late 90s, Simran is now being choosy about the roles she picks! The actress, who is playing a cop in Arvind Swami’s Vanangamudi is now part of Sivakarthikeyan’s next, directed by Ponram. Tentatively called SK 12, the film stars Samantha as the female lead.

Talking to DC, from Kuttralam, Simran says, “I really can’t tell you anything about my character in the film. It is too early to talk about it, but it is a fun film and I have a meaty role to play. There is something to enjoy for everyone in this project.”

Talking about Sivakarthikeyan, she goes on to say, “He is a pucca mass hero. I have seen his work, and he is an thorough entertainer — a sweetheart to girls and favourite among kids. I’m looking forward to working with him and the team that has delivered blockbusters in the past.”

Simran points out to director Ponram as the main reason for her doing the film in the first place. “His confidence in the script and clarity of thought made it very easy for me to accept the project,” exclaims the actress.

The film has an ensemble cast that includes Soori, Napolean, Lal, Mottai Rajendran, Yogi Babu and Manobala.
