Real-life Narikuravas in Vedhapuri

Kurathi Magan with KR Vijaya and Gemini Ganesan was made 44 years ago, which dealt with the life of the Narikuravas nomad community. Now, a debutant, Agni Adhavan is dealing with the  subject adding commercial elements to it.

“It is about how a set of kuravas, who travel from place to place,  get entangled in a predicament when they enter Vedhapuri. How they manage to come out of it, is narrated as a thriller,” says Agni.

He adds, “Apart from the lead cast of Esa Selva and Rasak, Devatha and Yoga, many real-life Narikuravas have acted in the film. They taught us their language and mannerisms and were very helpful to us.”
