B'town actress Aanchal Munjal debuts in Tamil
The glam actress of We Are Family fame, will be romancing Nakul.
If you notice in the recent past, the invasion of Bollywood heroines in Tamil cinema have come down drastically. Looks like the trend is once again catching up! Bollywood babe Aanchal Munjal of We Are Family fame is making her Kollywood debut with an untitled movie, and romances Nakul who plays the lead protagonist. Gopalan Manoj, a known name in the telefilm and short film circuit in Malayalam, is making his foray in Tamil directing the movie. Gopalan has also made the hit thriller Saaradhi in M’town, which also bagged a national award for its screenplay by Rajesh K Raman. It was but natural for Gopalan to repeat Rajesh in his Tamil debut as well for story, screenplay and dialogues.
Talking about Nakul, Gopalan says, “This film will be a turning point in Nakul’s career. He has a challenging role and it will be a much talked-about one.” Insiders say that the makers are also roping in three top artistes from the Tamil industry, which will be disclosed soon.
