Tamannah in Tamil remake of Anando Brahma

Tamannah, last seen in Prabhu Deva’s Devi 2, has signed yet another horror-comedy titled Petromax, directed by Rohin Venkatesan of Adhe Kangal fame. A female-centric film, it is said to be a remake of the Telugu hit Anando Brahma starring Taapsee Pannu. The original film was appreciated for a quirky concept revolving around four characters who, while needing money badly, agree to stay inside a haunted house for four days.

The movie has Tammu in the lead sans a romantic pair, besides a bunch of comedians including Yogi Babu. Muneeskanth, Sathyan, Kali Venkat, and TV fame TSK, Prem, Sreeja, KSG Venkatesh and Baby Monica are all part of the ensemble cast. Bankrolled by Eagle’s Eye Productions, Ghibran scores the music and Dani Raymond is behind the camera.
