After playing a role with negative shades with aplomb in AMR Ramesh’s Oru Melliya Kodu, Shaam has now moved on to a road thriller titled Kaaviyan, directed by Parthasarathy. The specialty of the this bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, is that the entire film has been shot at Las Vegas in the US.

Mollywood actress Aathmiya, who debuted with Sivakarthikeyan’s Manam Kothi Paravai, has been roped in as the heroine. There’s yet another leading lady Sridevi Kumar (US-based Malayali) who will romance Shaam onscreen. The first schedule has already commenced, and is underway at a brisk pace in Las Vegas with Shaam’s portions being canned.

Delving deeper into the story, a source says that Shaam plays an Indian police officer who reaches America and gets into a tricky predicament with another Indian there. How he solves it forms the rest of the movie. A Hollywood actor has been brought on board to play the villain. “Technically, it will be on par with Hollywood standards as we are using all the latest technical support available in the US,” claims its director.

The team will make use of splendid cars like Rolls Royce, Hummer, etc., to make this road thriller more exciting.
