Bogan goes to Tollywood
Ravi Teja will reprise the role of Jayam Ravi while makers are yet to find an actor for Arvind Swami's role.
Director Laskhman’s Bogan starring Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swami and Hansika, went on to become one of the most profitable ventures of the year. Now, the movie is all set to be remade in Telugu, and Lakshman will be wielding the megaphone for this version as well.
Speaking to DC, a source says, “The script for the Telugu version has been locked and we have roped in Ravi Teja to reprise Jayam Ravi’s role. Shooting of this untitled version will kick start in August. Currently, the cast and crew are being looked upon and a formal announcement will be out in a week’s time.”
Arvind Swami’s role was the major highlight of the movie, and when asked who would be reprising the role in the Telugu version, the source says, “We are approaching another actor who would suit his role properly. So, Arvind Swami won’t be doing the Telugu flick. Also, the climax of the Telugu version will be changed and will be completely different from Bogan.”
