Sundar C is back to donning greasepaint in a lead role after a while. He has been brought on board for a dark horror flick titled Iruttu. Director VZ Durai says it is a new type of horror genre where there are no ghosts and no comedy tracks and yet will give you a spine chilling experience. Sai Dhanshika will be seen in a crucial role. It was Sundar C who started the horror-comedy trend in Tamil cinema in the recent past with his Aranamanai and a sequel.
Speaking about the movie VZ Dhorai said, “Iruttu will be something different from the stereotype horror genre. I wanted try out a horror flick without portraying a ghost. I have realised my dream through Iruttu. Thanks to Screen Scene Media Entertainment who bankrolled the film.”
“We have completed 85% of the shooting in a single stretch of 40 days in Ooty. Only a few more portions are pending to be filmed in Hyderabad and Surat, “Dhorai reveals. The first look of Sundar sporting khaki with a dog in the backdrop was revealed recently. Sakshi Chaudhary, VTV Ganesh and Yogi Babu are also part of the movie.
Girishh is composing music for this film with E. Krishnasamy handling cinematography.
