I feel lucky to be a part of Taramani: Sarah George
Speaking about her role in the movie.
Sarah George is over the moon! The pretty model/publicist-turned-actress is making her foray into films through director Ram’s highly anticipated movie Taramani. She speaks to DC about her love for acting, her role in the film, and her future projects. “I feel very lucky to be a part of Ram sir’s film. He’s the best person to act with as a newcomer, as he is an extremely good teacher,” starts Sarah.
Speaking about her role in the movie, she says, “Though I’ve been getting offers from Tamil, as well as Malayalam, for the past two years, I was waiting for the right script. And, I’m happy that I’ve got a significant role in this movie. In fact, I have an interesting storyline in the film.”
The Kerala-born actress says that, in spite of being very nervous on the first day of the shoot, her first shot actually turned out to be her best performance in the whole movie. “I had just met the director and he asked me to get ready for a scene then and there. I was little apprehensive, being Malayali, I have difficulties with Tamil pronunciation. But, I managed to give it my best, and it turned out to be good.”
Sarah says she wants to play such strong characters in the future. “My inspiration is Mollywood actress Lena. I hope to become a performer like her.” On a concluding note, she gave tidbits about her upcoming projects. “Though I can’t reveal a lot, all I can say is my second movie will be even bigger! There are also talks for some other projects. I am hoping for the best,” she bids adieu.
