Jayam Ravi and wife Aarti announce separation

Over the years, fans have continued to shower their love upon Jayam Ravi and wife Aarti. Now, after 14 years of marriage, the popular Tamil actor has confirmed the news of his separation from Aarti on his social media handle.

On September 9, the Ponniyin Selvan actor posted an emotional message on social media, addressing the need to end their marriage. The actor stressed that this was arrived at after due consideration and asked the public for understanding and time as this was a difficult period for them all.

While circulating a post on his X page, Ravi appreciated fans for their love and support. “Thank you for your love and understanding,” he said. It was stated that because of being always honest with the fans, this update was necessary.

“I am sorry to all of you, but such personal update ought to be conveyed with a heavy heart. “After long thought, reflection and discussion, I have made a very tough decision to move out of my marriage with Aarti. This is no decision that has been made in a hurry and comes from personal reasons which I think are for the benefit of all parties.”

The actor also addressed the issue of attention seekers, which is the lens through which his fans and the press seem to view every story enough to negociate and prejudice their presentation. “I politely ask all of you in this respect to be understand our appeal about the privacy of our family and us, and in turn suppress all sorts of unwarranted accusations, statements concerns during this phase.”

Ravi went on to emphasize that both his career and the commitment to exercise his focus on, to entertain his fans are still intact.

“I would say my love and affection/hard work and dedication towards my audience has not changed over the years. I am still and will always be your Jayam Ravi,” thanking them for their unceasing love, he states these words.

There were some reports a few months back about their rift when Aarti removed the pictures of Ravi from her Instagram page. Still, the duo who got married in June 2009 and has two sons, Aarav and Ayaan, has hitherto failed to speak about the reports.

Fans were heartbroken over Jayam Ravi’s announcement, but they stand behind the actor and continue to support him through this difficult time in his life.
