Mumbai Police arrested a man from Karnataka for sending threatening messages to Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

Mumbai Police arrested a 23-year-old YouTuber from Karnataka’s Raichur district for sending a threatening message demanding Rs 5 crore from Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The message, sent on November 7 via WhatsApp, also included a threat to kill the lyricist of a song dedicated to Khan, "Main Sikandar Hoon," from his upcoming movie Sikandar.

In a bizarre twist, the lyricist himself, Sohail Pasha, was identified as the sender. Pasha, 24, allegedly sent the message to gain publicity for his song. The threat demanded a ransom and warned that if the money wasn't paid, both Khan and the lyricist would be killed. The message also taunted Khan to save the lyricist if he had the courage.

Initially, authorities suspected the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who had previously targeted Khan over the blackbuck poaching case. However, the investigation revealed the threat was a publicity stunt orchestrated by Pasha himself. Khan is currently shooting for Sikandar in Hyderabad under tight security.
