Sunny Wayne in Midhun's Alamarah
The film, touted as comedy-family entertainer, will have Amen-fame Swathy Reddy as the female lead
The second directorial venture of Midhun Manuel Thomas (who started his career with Aadu, Oru Bheekara Jeeviyanu) was Sunny Wayne-starrer Ann Mariya Kalippilanu, which had done good business in the box office. Now the latest news is that the director is all set to join hands with Sunny again, for a film titled Alamarah.
According to a source close with the director, the film will be a humour-family entertainer. The movie will have Amen fame Swathy Reddy in the lead role. She has earlier teamed up with the director in his debut venture — Aadu, which had Jayasurya as the protagonist.
If a source is to be believed, the film will have Saiju Kurup and Aju Varghese in the supporting roles. Shibu Thekkumpuram, who earlier bankrolled Nivin Pauly-starrer Action Hero Biju will produce Alamarah under the banner of Full On studios. Debutant Praveen Prabharam’s Villain is yet another film is Sunny Wayne’s kitty.
