Wedding bells for Shruthy
The bold and beautiful Shruthy Menon has been engaged to Mumbai-based businessman Sahil Timbadia.
Shruthy Menon became a familiar face in Kerala after she started hosting the show Vodafone Comedy Stars. By then, Malayali audience realised that this gorgeous woman is the same train-singer in the movie Mulla. She has been applauded for her strong characters in movies like Kismath and Mulla. Though Shruthy herself has made it official through her social media posts that she has got engaged, we would like to give all the curious fans out there a little more sneak peek into her wedding plans with the information she shared with us.
Shruthy is engaged to her beau Sahil Timbadia, a businessman in the hospitality sector, who runs a couple of restaurants in Mumbai. She informed that any decision regarding the wedding has not been taken yet and that she will let her fans know every detail through her social media page. Shruthy, who is very particular about choosing roles, firmly assures, “Wedding will never keep me away from acting as I am extremely passionate about what I am doing in movies.” This could be one of the reasons for her bang-on performance in Kismath as a Dalit girl who falls in love with a Muslim guy younger to her, a role which was applauded and critically acclaimed.
From acting as a teenage lesbian in her very first film Sancharam directed by Ligy J. Pullappally, to portraying an unconventional bold character in Kismath, her character selection points out her fearless attitude on breaking taboos. The actress has a couple of projects lined up and has wrapped up shooting for Malayalam movie Chippy in which her character is a bold Kannur girl who sells chips on a hand cart and gets fascinated about something a group of children attempt to do. Shruthy is also in talks for taking up a Tamil movie. However, nothing has been confirmed on it yet.
