Cast: Suhas Pagolu, Vishika Kota, Posani Krishna Murali

Director: Bobby Varma
Tollywood actor Suhas is back with yet another movie. This time he has tried his hand at an offbeat subject.
Plot:
The protagonist (Suhas), who is on a mission to take revenge for the killing of his wife, lands in jail after tasting partial success in his first attempt. However, the story then deviates and goes on to narrate the ordeal of a sheep that does not want to follow the herd. The story then revolves around how the sheep faces many problems before getting involved in religion and politics.
The sheep eventually gets locked up in a jail before the protagonist comes to its rescue.
Even though the maker has chosen an out of the box subject, better direction could have made it better. A few scenes make the audience laugh, but those are not enough to hold the audience captive throughout the movie
It is indeed commendable that the makers have chosen an interesting subject, however the director's bold attempt at satirizing media trials and how it is used politically becomes repetitive after point.
While Suhas impresses, the performance of some members of the cast, dialogues and a few scenes look forced. However, the makers of Gorre Puranam need a pat on their backs for keeping the settings natural. They aptly fit the theme of the movie.
Plus
Suhas's acting
Plot of the movie itself
Settings
Minus
Screenplay could have been tight
Narration falls flat in a few places
Verdict: Gorre Puranam is a bold attempt to explore an out of the box theme. A little bit of attention to details could have taken this film a notch higher.
