Guess who, asks Anil Ace pianist becomes a tough quiz-master on social media
Anil is taking you this season on a nostalgic trip with nuggets from his photo album.
Award-winning pianist Anil Srinivasan has always been creative and quirky. His social media posts have their own legion of fans and culture, fans vouch by his views on art and music. Lately, his Facebook posts have been in sync with the season - The Margazhi month. Anil is taking you this season on a nostalgic trip with nuggets from his photo album.
The musician has brushed the dust off an old memory and given the public a major throwback to a day where a little Anil can be seen sitting by a piano while another kid naughtily stares at the camera with a paper plate in his hand- Anil’s brother from behind is also seen looking at the camera quite astonishingly. While the people are left splitting hairs, trying to figure out the identity of the child with the plate, Anil is going to be releasing more such memories of culture, art and TN’s many facets of music on his social media page to keep music fraternity and his fans guessing.
Clearing all doubts, he identifies with his own little self infront of the piano, he writes, “One is obviously me (as evidenced by the instrument in front of me), and the second is my brother. Who is the third person holding the paper plate?”
Spilling the beans, Anil tells DC, “This is one way of creating a buzz and interest in the rich cultural fabric of our state’s music scene. W are all performers and we have had our concerts- so I am using old photos from various Margazhi seasons in the past with various musicians, dancers and artistes. One of the ways
to keep people engaged and interested in music season is doing things which have not just to do with music but things that surround it. Stories about legends, their smiles and dedication will inspire younger generation to infuse themselves into the fervour fo this season.” The Carnatic music circles and the wider music
community are enthused by this #GuessWho contest.
