Hyderabad: Few musicians can perform love songs as well as Ilaiyaraaja, who has produced immortal classics such as Eenade Edo, Manchu Kurise, Ade Neevu and O Papa Lali.

During an interaction session with techies, Ilaiyaraaja said: "It is not technology that lends life to music, but rather the technique of musicians." A few of his hit songs were played in the auditorium.

“Despite not being a part of the generation when Ilaiyaraaja created some of the romantic classics, I love a lot of his songs. As a matter of fact, I grew up listening to his music, which crosses all barriers and age groups,” said techie Lakshmi Maanasa.

Another techie, Chitrali Sharma, noted that because it is Valentine's Day, the event was at once heart-warming as the musical genius mesmerising music and songs were played. “Everyone in this room had a good time,” she stated. The event was attended by Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary of Industries and Commerce (I&C) and IT and playback singer Sunita.
