Days after reports claiming big OTT names were vying for the streaming rights of Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding, fresh chatter now suggests that Netflix was successful in bagging the project for a whopping Rs 50 crore.
According to a social media post by film industry tracker, Manobala Vijayabalan, Netflix has secured the streaming rights of the star couple's wedding.
However, there is no official confirmation from the family members or from the OTT giant.
The star couple, who got engaged in August are set to tie the knot on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
Chaitanya, in a recent interview, opened up about the marriage and shared his excitement. "Looking forward to starting a new journey with Sobhita and celebrating life together. I connect deeply with her, she understands me beautifully and fills a void in me. It's going to be an amazing journey ahead," he said.
Speaking about the venue, Chay said "The wedding will be held at Annapurna Studios, which has a very special sentiment attached to it. It was a conscious decision by the family to have the wedding there in front of my grandfather's statue and seek his blessings."
On the work front, the Akkineni star is currently busy with post production works of Thandel, which is locked for February 7 release.
